I had an annual visit with Dr. Lui and was asked if I wanted to do additional screening as part of my blood test. I asked the doctor and nurse in the room if I would be charged extra for the additional testing and they both said no, but I recently received a bill in the mail from Quest Diagnostics that had been ordered by Dr. Lui and City Care Family Practice. The office is back tracking and saying they cannot guarantee whether a patient's insurance will cover the testing ordered, but I would have opted out had I known this was the case. I'm very disappointed as this office also likes to charge for additional questions asked about anything other than general health in annual visits. I feel nickel and dimed, not cared for.

Yeah I mean I’ve been going here a few years. The last few times I’ve met with a lovely practioner.
I hadn’t met with Dr K in a while…
I felt like I was an annoyance to him so I won’t be going back to this practice.

Dr. Bruce Chung is amazing! He is what all Doctors should be: experienced, smart, knowledgeable, human. It has been more than TWENTY years that I have been seeing Dr. Chung.
And the best thing is he really cares about his patients, and unlike many doctors he really listens to your problems. He is very good about coming up with the best solution to help treat the many medical issues we all encounter. Dr. Chung is very informed about the latest developments and studies in the medical field. He also takes the time to be thorough and does not rush you out of the office like so many other MD's. He takes the time to explain the various options and the risks and benefits of each one. It is important to build a good relationship with your PCP and follow up throughout the years.
The practice is well run, clean and neat, and I have never had any issues with billing or the front office staff who are always friendly when I call up and great at getting back to me when I call up for something. Thanks to Ms. Nobu!
The online patient portal lets the doctor send you notes on lab results explaining them to you. I really appreciate being able to view all my test results on the patient portal and being able to have blood tests at the office and convenient! The nurse staffs are very friendly and professional.
Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Bruce Chung.

i'm absolutely not someone who loves going to the doctor, but i never have any anxiety/dread going to see dr. lui. she's so kind and personable, but she's also extremely thorough and great at her job. the office is immaculate and doesn't feel like your standard clinical facility. everyone is so kind, and they keep to a tight schedule while paying proper attention to each patient.

Dr. Chung has been my primary care physician for many years. I don’t know what I would do without him. He is never rushed, always spends the time I need, and has recommended several specialists over the years who have also turned out to be wonderful doctors. I cannot recommend him enough, and his associates are excellent as well.
